EVNGENCO1 has operated basic plants stably, meeting the mobilization needs of the national power system, and at the same time worked with local units to have economical and effective water supply plans. as a basis to provide enough water to serve the needs of downstream areas until the end of the dry season.
As a result, in February 2024, EVNGENCO1 produced 1.82 billion kWh, reaching 81.7% of the assigned output plan. Among them, some plants exceeded their assigned output such as Nghi Son 1 Thermal Power Plant (131%), Dai Ninh Hydropower Plant (114.7%).

Regarding construction investment, construction investment projects are being implemented by the Corporation according to the assigned schedule. By the end of February, the volume of construction investment implementation reached 38.2% and the disbursement value reached 39.2% of the 2024 plan (including disbursement value for the implementation value of previous years).

On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024 (Tet Holiday), EVNGENCO1 and its units have implemented many social security activities in their operating areas, with a focus on gift giving and support programs for people in difficult circumstances to celebrate the Tet Holiday. In particular, hydropower units of plants belonging to Song Tranh Hydropower Company, Dong Nai Hydropower Company etc. have actively implemented annual activities of stocking fish fingerlings to regenerate aquatic resources in hydropower reservoirs, contributing to creating biodiversity for local people.
